The Non-Profit SHSM program allows students to explore and focus on a career in helping others.

Requirements and Highlights:

  • must be a student in grade 11 or 12 
  • students will receive 7 certifications from this list (First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, Leadership, Communication, Problem Solving, Team Work, Customer Service, etc) 
  • program is FREE
  • students will communicate with Ms. Cotnam and Ms. Bossa
  • students will attend meetings
  • opportunities to hear from Career people, visit colleges/universities
  • this program really enhances your resume
  • colleges and universities recognize SHSM members as skilled people
